Calling all Americans! 350Zed or 350Zee ?

This question is just begging to be answered! I was just thinking about this earlier today...an answer must be found!

How do you say it?

350 Zed -vs- 350 Zee
240 Zed -vs- 240 Zee
300 ZedX -vs- 300 ZeeX
Camaro Zed-twenty-eight -vs- Camaro Zee-twenty-eight

Personally, all this "Zee" business sounds like rubbish to me, but all the Americans on here are probably saying the same thing about "Zed"

EDIT: Just for the record, the entire rest of the world says "Zed"... maybe "Zed" is metric

I say 350 Zee. In spanish Z is "zeta" so Zed sounds more normal to me, but I already got used to Zee.....

Being French, the Z is pronounced Zed.
But I prefer to call this car "Fairlady Zed" over "350 Zed".

I'm into the whole Zed thing too. That's prolly because we say it like that in my part of the world. I also tend to say trehundredeoghalvtreds rather than threehundredandfifty.

Overwhelming vote (+mine) says its a 350Zed , the votes may have have been closer if you had started the thread with Camaro Z28 in the American cars forum.

Growing up in the U.S. but 15 miles from the Canadian border I heard "Zed" quite a bit, but it still sounds completely alien.
350Zed doesn't sound nearly as cool as 350Zee, and Zed28 sounds worse.

I say zee. Altough admittedly the very first time I saw this car I thought it was called 35 OZ (As in "Wizard of OZ). It's quite embarrasing actually.

for any american cars i will say zee, but for japanese or european cars it will be zed, because zed 28 sounds screwy to me.

Explain this whole Zed thing to me, I've never even heard the reference as Zed. So, I guess my answer would be Zee.
