very good point about making a cabrio version to challenge the 350z roadster and maybe they should add a bit more power and then the z roadster will have a hard time - the rx8 is a bit down on horsepower but way better on looks - can't wait for a roadtest

Wellfrom the sources im hearing mazda is planning on makeing a 2 door version and have made a concept wether they will or nots another thing i hope they do its lines are cleaner and looks better and more natural to me so im assuiming that if they make the 2 door they will make convertable then.

well everyone knows convertables are both heavier and less powerful then coupe versions for safety reasons. and they already cut down on its horsepower to start with, so i dont know if im a big fan of the idea.

not to say that im not a fan of the rx8. ill be in my brilliant black with grand touring and appearance package in 2 weeks.

Yeah well if theres a market in it theyll doit eventually even if it is slower its currently the car thats takeing the world by storm so they should milk it for all its worth while they still can.
