Nah mate That was the VP, How i wish i could have drove it up there Everyone was looking for it i passed a few old family friends and they didn't know it was us only looking for the blue VT and not the Maroon VP..

It needs some plugs and leads bad.. Did a oil change, Could also do with a power steering flush it's pretty dated looking..

Ahh fuel calculator thanks mate.

That's ok charged going hard.

My car has been in since 8.30am, I have had about 1.5 hours sleep, I am so tightly wound at the moment my nerves are on the edge i got a bloody large head ache.
And to top that off they call me and i shit, The Rad support isn't on any list in my receipts, The wreckers where we got it from didn't stick it on!, So i gave them a bell they on the game now encase they call.

I feel sick like a eat 10 pizza's. The waiting is killing me!..

Now i have to go Too holden if all is fine and get them to do a SRS airbag test and place this on a machine and give that back to them.
$170 for a sheet!.. **** you Holden! it's a rip off.
And then if i need measurement of the car to make sure it's factory length etc, Then that's another $350! Holden you shit me today!.

That is the weirdest test requirement for rego I've ever heard of!

And what does Holden charge in labour costs these days .. around $80 per hour? Does this $350 bill mean that Holden hits you for 4+ hours of labour, just for a couple of 1st-year appretices to hold onto the end of a tape measure for 10 minutes???

Geezuz

If the deem the car to be out of shape at all from the accident, They will ask me for a dimmension test vs the factory standard of the vechile of the time.
Take them 5min with a little ruller.

Yep last time i checked down there they charge about that per hour ****en rip off's!.
The Airbag test is much the same, To resset the systen it takes a guy with a small computer to lean down under the dash and plug his tech2 pc into the car, Do some numbers bang done!.
For this one holden charge a good $50+ and you can't be there for it, I found this out when i set errors through my cars airbags when removing the seat it's a simply resset.

Still no word from the VIV people getting late late.

You have to remember, it's a government department, which bluntly means they'll be taking their sweet ass time with it.

especially considering you're not following proper methods...like buying a car straight from the factory, lols.

you'll be sweet.

Governments suck balls lol.

I just got the car, Guess what, They forgot to call me..
Must admit they were very nice people and i was told VIV people were c**ts, They were far from that..

Good news...
Car passed they are more then happy with the repairs and more then happy to pass it without fuss.

Bad News...
That shitty SRS Airbag report that takes Holden 2min to tick!, The VIV people provide me with the sheet so holden is only taking $170 for labour in something that only takes them 2 min or less to do, Shame on you Holden.
And the place that gave me the front cut Radiator Support forgot to ad that to my receipt they gave me, So i need to get that with VIV of the donar car and then take that back and they will hand me the papers for Vic Roads and after RWC on the road!!! Finally.

Must admit i was pretty shitty with the wreckers for handing me over a receipt with all i got from them and not adding that on.. I didn't see 80% of the parts they were delivered to David who repaired the car.

So first thing tomorrow ring holden book in for SRS restraint report, Call for RWC appointment, Go into Wreckers and hand them my foot.

But all in all very happy they liked the repairs so car is safe and done right can't ask for much more then that.

One Last thing.... ****! You! Holden! My shit list till the end of the month.

Does it look ready. Looks mean in the shadows all ready to burn the roads lol.

Nah standard tank blue, thank god the races arent long for both the car and the driver

Good work Slick on the car mate, dealers rip you a new one all the time. When I was a second year apprentice at Cummins and working in the injector and fuel pump room. If I reconditioned a set of injectors it was a 1 hr job with about $100 worth of parts all up it cost Cummins about $110 including my labour cost, the used to chanrge close to a grand
