Ahhh just remember something, I seen a ad last night on Toyota, Going on about there crap as always, But what got my nose out was near the end they were going on how great there F1 V8 engine is bla bla and finished it off by saying I'll quote this...

It's just a dig. They don't have the budget to do F1 AND V8 Supercars....

that and they can't really come up with a suitable rear-drive chassis.

I dont think its really a matter of budget or drivetrain IB4R, VESA is so desperate to expand the category, all Toyota would have to say is "we have money and want to play" and you'd see some quick rule changes. I dont think theyve got any interest in local motorsport other than rally, perhaps cause the FIA wont let them play in their game. Toyota as a whole just has no soul to its operations. Thats why theyre doing so crap in F1, and fired the 1 person that got them anywhere last year.

I Think Toyota, being the shrewd business people they are, are attempting to understand the Australian market, and won't be entering V8SC until such time as they think they've got that downpat.

So in other words when the Aurion is on public sale

One could Say Honda had no soul to begin with, the main difference between the companies is that one is run be bean counters, the other by Engineers. F1 isn't always about passion (although it does help). It's become a serious business and I'd put money on Toyota at least getting a deserved (Rather than inheirated) podium this year.
