Hearing things like that are always sad.

I wonder how effective electronic signs, like those recently implemented on the M7 would be at preventing things like this as a method of forewarning. Ofcourse, theres massive cost involve and theres a relative window of time between the accident and the signs being updated

They weren't electronic signs - It was the car's flashing lights. those things are visible a mile off and I'll not be surprised if i hear the truck driver was on a mix of 'Keep awake' drugs.

The signs I think are more of a distraction and more likely to cause accidents - they're just something to install with the road budget, instead of, y'know, fixing the roads or anything.

It's obivously spread fuel everywhere because of all the foam, but I think with all the coatings all over the metals used to be build cars these days they may prvent a spark from occuring.
