The judging is based on many factors, its a bit like syncronised swimming with cars. One judges interpretation of one drifter can be diffrent to another judge Theres no real definite winner like with proper motorsport Although there is delicate car control needed to do big hangs and skids

Blue supra seems to know a bit about it, not sure if thats a good or bad thing

That video shows how sucky the carshow is, no real info about the car just that they had moved some shit around in the engine and changed the induction system and a movie related to drifting is about to come out in cinema.s. Glenny boy was having a hard time controlling it(not that i could do better) not really sure how he became a motoring journalist but on that performance you have to wonder why he is a motoring journalist.

Charged is right, each judge gives a score on a combination of things like:

- entry speed
- drift angle
- linking drifts

etc and so on, theres a new device out that has now effectively become the video ref in drifting. Its called drift box, see this link for more info and vids:

Did anyone manage to check out round one the last couple of days? It was on SBS about a week ago apparently and on FoxSports during the week. Adam Newton really had the F6 hustling around Mallala from most of the shots, but once it got serious it really looked as if the car's still at least 200kg too heavy with the current suspension/engine package
