These stats accompanied the pics....

Engine output is 304kw at 6000rpm.

Wheel sizes are 19x8 with 245/40R19, 19x9.5 with 275/35R19 and 20x8 with 245/35R20, 20x9.5 with 275/30 R20. 48mm offset for front and 57mm offset for rear wheels.

Front brake rotors are 365 x 32mm and rear is 350 x 26mm.

Tare mass Clubsport R8 1760kg, GTS 1777kg and Senator 1792kg.

The tail-lights remind of MX-5 and VT Commodore........not really sure about them, different for difference sake ? I quite like the front-end (what we can see of it).

Would definately look better in any other color...remember how bad the 'leaked' SS pics looked in white?

Yay! 275 rears! About bloody time! And those are a lot lighter than I thought they'd be as well. Still lighter than an GT IIRC.

As for the styling, not enough change from a VZ for me, but I'd like to see some shots straight on back and front.

Holden keeps saying the VE have european styling,egM5, M3, RS4 sublte but puposeful. HSV youve missed the mark completeley if u want to steal sales from the BMW, Audi brigade.

I even prefer this to the HSV, yes it does have a V8

I dont like it, infact i hate it. Doesnt flow at all and just seems to accentuate HSV's latest styling trend of love it or hate it. I think too many people will hate this one.

Perhaps it will look better in black or red though

it wont look any better IMO. The front foglamp housings are just awkward. They don't even run parallel to the base of the headlights. The rear looks old, very old. The only nice-ish advance they have made are those enlarged vents...

The more i look at it, the more the rear end looks like a jacked-up VT......not really a good look.

be it as it may, sorry i dont like this, the SS, imho looks better with the 20' hsv rims. The lights are difffernt, but different enough for me not to like them. Theres only so much black plastic crappo i can withstand, and having it in the headlights, front kit, foglight housing, rear kit, rear headlights..it goes on. To be honest im just more of a fan of a free flown design with kits that incorporate the body more, colour coded and what not - you get where im coming?
