2007 Australian International Motorshow Sydney

The next major UCP meetup/event is the
2007 Australian International Motor show - Sydney
held in the Exhibition Centre on the harbour in Sydney.

Quote:
Each year the Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) debuts an impressive line-up of all-new, redesigned or upgraded production models and concept cars from the world's greatest manufacturers - all under one roof.

As always, there's much more to AIMS than just cars. Fashion parades, aftermarket accessories, and driver and celebrity appearances will add to the buzz.

The 2007 Australian International Motor Show opens its doors to the public at 5pm on Thursday 11th October and will run for the following 10 days.

For more information on the Australian International Motor Show go to Motor Show -- Australian International Motor Show -- Carsguide
In this thread you will find details and general chat (being aussie's I also assume wildly of topic discussion) of the weekend in question.

IB4R has suggested the opening weekend of the 12th(friday) to 14th(sunday) of october.

For those needing to make a journey for the event, here is the place to plan your trips, as well as accomodation for those that need to stay overnight or for the weekend.

I will offer my abode to a limited number of guests for the weekend if any so do require it.

Woah was i off the track

Im happy to drive up to 4 Canberrans. i dont think there are that many though so 2 would be fine for maximum comfort. i can fit all my personal belongings in my boot (pretty much) so yeh, comfort and space all the way.

As for where to stay... i can get a room at the waldorf in syd for sweet fk all so i may investigate that as its walking distance to the exhibition centre and i can leave my car at the hotel.
