pretty sure you can buy the CSV one at any rate?

bet the side exhausts don't make production, being illegal and all.

I think engine alone is $45,000 then some playing around as it's not a straight fit, Maybe ad $55,000 on top??, Then they do tweak the suspension to lower it i think a touch more maybe stiffer as well, But basically it's the GTS.

With this it seems the brakes alone must be worth a mint, Someone has said does anyone realise the brakes offered on that car are larger then any standard commodore has ever offered in wheel size.

I'm struggling to see the point CSV product which is essentially identical to a HSV item at the same price.

It would be curious if they weren't since the car has the biggest engine, the most power/torque, (most weight?) at the highest price ever asked of holden.

Good on HSV for being the first to release a local 500hp sedan, but the car does absolutely nothing for me.

Except it's not. The LS7 is dry sumped, which means they had to get that to work in a car that wasn't designed for it. And that would mean they could push the engine lower in the car as well.

In the shed
tell me they put a two way slippery diff in it??!!?!

the CSV is around the same price but this has bigger brakes, custom externals (carbon wing WANT!) unique interior, diff suspension... HSV is the better option.

This thing will slay M5s

I was just having a laugh seconds, So they had to craft a new sump that would fit behind the cradle, not a big deal.
HSV has had it pretty easy since the LS engines became available, just draw up a gauche bodykit, slap in some prebuilt power, plaster it in HSV badges and watch them fly out the door. They take all this credit but other people do the important work.
Still, good on them for getting this one out the door.

I was reading the paper today and it said the 'Holden Coupe 60 Concept' that was unveiled at the Melbourne Motorshow today is actually Holden's 2.5 million dollar attempt in making the new 'Monaro concept'. I could believe that... but they hid it well for so long. Earlier (about 2 months ago) I was reading reports where they had to scrap the idea of building a new Monaro due to change in emmission laws or somethin like that. What a beauty the Coupe 60 is though.

And the W427's performance figures have been compared with that of a Porsche 911 Turbo. Thats like comparing Speedy Gonazales to a... whale, but if those performance figures are true... phwoa!

I overheard one of the designers y/day, he said they've been working on this since June or so IIRC.

The Coupe 60 that is, don't know anything about the W427 except that it looks like a fat bulldog.
