A better new Zealand supercar?

http://www.sakercars.com/

The "Saker", like the bird of prey, from which its name is derived, is a swift and very maneuverable unit, designed for those of us who enjoy our driving for its sheer pleasure. Many observers have described the Saker as a true sportscar of the modern era, with a design based on outright performance, rather than trends or fashion.

The main objectives during the design stage were :-

lightweight.
minimum frontal area and drag.
capacity for high down force.
main weight mass in central position.
room for V8 or similar type power unit.
sufficient air intake areas for radiators, intercoolers, air boxes, brakes, etc.
low center of gravity.
good access to the engine, suspension, etc.
two seats, side by side.
forward hinged doors with descent side window opening and good seals.
efficient heater demister.

The "Saker" body style is the result of these considerations. Due to the fact that the "Saker" is made to order in semi-finished, rolling chassis, or ready to use form, you are able to have considerable input into the features and specifications of your own personalised sportscar.

And cheap too!

Ugly, just ugly. Reminds me of those Ultima cars, which are also ugly. Does anybody actually buy these kind of cars?

...and their site looks...umm...plain. It looks like it was done by a kid.

Yeah. its so much inferior to all the cars you've made...

The Ultima is quite successful, and is a very capable car, used as a testing mule for the McLaren F1, that is how good it is.

looks don't matter, now do they. an ultima can kick the shit out of most cars these days, since it's 0-60 is .2 seconds off the mclaren, and costs $46K without an engine. the engine goes from $8k-$20K. so, it's either $1M or ~$60K. try not caring about looks now.
