Just look at all their family type sedans. And the added bonus of course of front wheel drive. Some of the Dodge sedans dont look too bad though. I cant remember the names.

how many people are complaining about the rake on the rear seat for this car? i havent read a review yet that hasnt made mention of the rear seat being too vertical for anything more than say a 20 minute drive. holden apparently are going to fix this problem by extending out the cabin further, but how much length will that add overall to the car? its already the longest model in the holden range and i dont think holden will want to sacrifice load space in the tub for extra rear seat room

Have you ever sat in the back of a crew cab Triton, 4Runner, or any Japanes variant. The back seats are awful. Its pretty inherent in the design. Remember the raison detre for these things was originally as work utes that could accomodate more than three people. They have evolved into a variation on a 4x4 or in the case of the Crewman, a combination of family sedan and ute. Theres always going to be a compromise.

well i dont think many people were expecting such a compromise in a car based vehicle. considering they start off with a statesman there should be plenty of rear room

does anyone know when holden are planning on fixing the rake of the rear seat? theres been heaps of talk of them redeveloping the rear seats to give the seat less of a rake, do u think that'll be something for the VZ Crewman?

Well ive seen quite a few in person cruisng our streets and i must say their stanger looking then even the photos make them look.
And on an interestting note this isnt tnhe first time someones offer s a 4 door holden ute there was a man who was making kits for HQs when they were brand new and he made like 20 of them. also there was the conversion the Hilliers done to oneof their own personal cars a AU 4 door ute.

well ive started to see a couple going around, and on the road i fail to see the appeal of them. sure theyre a local 4 door ute, but the sheer size of them and the quirkiness in the rear end takke the appeal away for me. i know the R5 ford showed i think 2001 or 2000 looked different from the sedan, but it had appeal there for me

ive heard the crewman is getting bad reviews, apparantly its nearly 2 tonnes in weight its hard to park and it goes thru the gogo juice pretty quickly.......i personally think it looks like a limo-ute with the shear length of it.I like the 2 door ss utes much more. But then again the crewman might have a market out there, well just have to wait and see.

its getting the shit taken out of it for its poor rear seats and its length makes it really unsuitable for suburbia and inner city, its longer than the one tonner which is again longer than a statesman. i dont know where the falcon one tonners measure up there, but my dad had his falcon on the hoist in his garage over the weekend and it was longer than his 1966 chev impala convertible, with the factory alluminium tray (which is shit, go for aftermarket steel tray if you ask me) fitted

Well i fail to see any apeal for the cars and to think they want to add in more weight and raise the height of it by giving it AWD and to think what a HSV package would do to its bulbus weight.
