im surprised that they havent swithced to the gt yet, id expect the boss to be far more reliable than the old windsor, especially its stroked variant

Well they are both part of team GT australia Trevor Haines (BA GT) and John Falk (TE50) and in the same catigory when they had the cobra R racing it had a problem with Chains stretching and sometimes snapping (fixed now) and the stroked windsor managed to win a good spot int he bathurst 24 hour enduro where the boss isnt to well proven it remains to be seen. They dont quite have the money to have 2 GTs and the TE50 is like a test car for them (which incidently is out performing the still to be optimized GT)

well it sems like that but this catigory its production based so the cars are each so very differnt and have their own pros and cons

well to me the prouction base just makes the pros and cons more visible, they still exist in the supercars

true enought but youll have to look at all the other cars in the field RX-7,200SX,Commadores and a hole manner of other machines along those lines all differnt all have their syrenghts and weaknesses.

To my knowlage its one big catigory as in you doint see individual results on classes just outright it seema little unfair on smaller cars that dont have the advantages backing some of the others have but thats racing i guess.

its funny cuase a while ago i had a look at the bathurst 24hr site, and for that they were running about 9 or so classes, where the te50 that came 9th was in i think the 3rd category and cars like the 427 and mosler were in the 1st

well in the 24 hour race they combine GT-p with nations cup and forign super touers but all that aside GT-p has no immediate class that you hear much abvout i hope it does ass thatll even it out a little.

well without any classes i guess its practically like a mirage cup up against a porsche carrera cup, which is pretty unfair

thats about the size of though their all somewhat performance based their are just some cars that arnt likely to pose a threat to the front runners.

it would create more interest in teh category i think if they split it up into several categories, otherwise some people are just gunna look at the cars racing and say, "the diablos gunna win", or "the monaro's gunna win", and cars like the te50 and gts wont get mentioned and people wont watch because of the number of top end cars entered

umm your getting confised now the GT-p runs speratly on a differnt race GT-p are cars that are worth under 60k (or some such) and the nations cup are for true sports cars the only time they run on the same track is during the bathurst 24 hour which has classes.
