Paint question

What's the difference between "Mr. Base White 1000" and "Mr. White Surfacer 1000" from Mr. Hobby? I'm planning to use either one as white paint.

They are basically the same although the 'Base' is more of a primer/filler so it's prolly more dense.

Surfacer would yield more of a semi gloss smooth finish because you use it after you have the basic body work done, sanded, primed, sanded. Surfacer goes on just before paint.

If you use it for the color coat it may not cover a darker color as well as the Base would, then of course it would need a clearcoat to get it glossy.

How does a white CGT sound with these? And instead of 2 blue and 2 red screws for wheels I'm planning to make all 4 of them red.

Long as you clearcoat it should look fine.
