This is just plain WRONG. I should check things more closely when trying to give hints ...

So this should make it easier ....

In 1925 this company becomes Chrysler Corporation with Walter Chrysler as president

Buick.

(I assume that your source is a book titled: Automobile Encyclopedia, of which I have a Dutch translation. If that's the case I will abstain from further participation)

Actually this answer this wrong, and very wrong too. Chrysler worked until 1920 for Buick, and then left in a row. According to my source there are two options of what the logo really is, either Chalmers or Maxwell. Furthermore my book does not give all the badges so I will continue

Couple of sources, the text I posted was trimmed from http://www.ozmopars.50megs.com/chryslerhistory.htm
And confirmed in http://www.chryslerclub.org/histry.htm

After leaving Buick, Chrysler joined Maxwell to restore it to healthy condition and went on to be renamed Chryserl Corp.

According to my "source" Chrysler, after he fell out with Buick, hired three engineers in 1920 to develop a car along his ideas. For this purpose he made available an old Chalmers factory. (could it be that the translators gave a free interpretation of the Maxwell-Chambers company or was there really a company called Chalmers. At least that name lives in the Allis-Chalmers tractor factory). In 1923 the result of the effort was the Chrysler Six, of which in the first year a 50 mln US$ orderbook could be registered. In 1925 the old Maxwell car was replaced by the Chrysler Four.
Anyway, I' ll continue to play.

just checked your source, and it appears that "Chambers" is an invention of the translators.

NO, but it is American - and one of the few which didn't become part of Chrysler, GM or Ford
In checking history I found that early cars had the slogan Guaranteed for Life on the car nameplate. Maybe that's why they went bust
