The Ford Focus is an underrated car, i'll take that over a Civic any day, the Mustang deserves the hype. Ferrari=overrated Skyline R34 GTR/Toyota Supra they are some of the greatest tuners but they aren't almighty, as long as a human made it, it will be defeated sooner or later.

I was lucky enough to test the car after it was on display at the LA Auto show. Two reactions... scarily fast and YES it DOES handle incredibly well. While I was not exactly timid with the car, the race trained driver that accompanied me threw it all over the road with nary an unexpected result. Not sure that I'd own one (the required tire change-out every 3000 miles at $50K per set puts it over the top) however from my brief experience, it's a truly phenomenal car.

US$50k for the tyre set? They are only quoting 5800GBPs so I think someone its making serious mark up.....

What did you think of its internal room? Does it compare to your CGT in interior room or is it more cramped?

The Veyron doesn't have a stupid engine, it is well crafted and well built, it's also a work of art. The one who said it is stupid is must be stupid thereself to say some bullcrap like that.

Undoubtedly. I would think I could get a major tire manufacturer to make a set of bespoke tires for a racing lawn mower and still spend less than $50K. I think it's their way of saying "we're exclusive". Trying a bit too hard, in my book. The new tire prerequisite is actually spelled out in a (supposedly) binding contract.

It felt tight, but as it should. Head room and leg room were fine, the seat was what held everything in place. It felt appropriate for the car. Not an everyday driver mentality, rather something special to look forward to taking out on the right occasion.

PS

No comparison to the CGT. Difference between enjoying a nice port in the leather living room chair vs. sitting in a roller coaster seat just as it crests the top of the first rise. Both very fun, both very different. (Albeit the CGT is a VERY fast living room chair.)

Maybe a very very very very little bit, actually i dont consider it overrated at all! Hummers are incredible off road vehicles, sure they may not be a bowler, but they get the job done pretty much anywhere.

that also depends on the hummer. the H1 is awesome. Big and ugly and can go anywhere. The H2 is fat and ugly and is mildly capapble of off road excursions. the H3 is underpowered and worthless.

they are also way too heavy, since when did it become impossible to build a car that weighs under4000 lbs

Everything I say has to be taken with a pinch of salt, as Ive never driven any of these!

BMW to a certain extent, all these business people buy it w/o consideration for the competition (IS anyone?).

Lexus is under-rated! Theres blatently not enough of em!
