Subaru Impreza WRX STI vs. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

Subaru Impreza WRX STi
1995-

The SUbaru Impreza WRX performance models launched in Japan and Europe in the 1990s, even though they didn't come to the USA until 2002. While the standard Impreza is just a plain Jane sedan (even though it uses really nice materials) the WRX and WRX STi are the closest to having the WRC rally car in your driveway. Unlike the Evo, the WRX and WRX STi share a lot of sheetmetal. and really the WRX is a lot like the Impreza. For the WRX STi, a regular Impreza grows ground FX, a wing and scoops, and gains a lot of HP, a manuel trans, an dstyling new rims. if the STi is too much for you (it costs 30,000) then the WRX is better, it is more comfortable, it has cupholders, costs a lot less, but still can grab attention.

Prius says
"This Subie really sets the bar, and I like it better than the EVo, mostly because it haas the WRX in the middle for people who want attention but cant afford 30,000. I like the idea, perofrmance my Parents are willing to buy"

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
1992-

launched in 1992, the EVolution I guess can be called today's Lancia Stratos.
In the Rally course, it is a maen machine, and on the street, it is is still a mean machine. It takes the plain jane boring lancer and grows a huge wing ground FX, turbo, rims and a mean snarl in a package that looks fast when it is standing still and can prove a challenge. it's 4WD makes it a very well ahndling car and very forgiving at it's limits. even though it costs more that the Subie. but oh well, it's like what the night shift at the local Wal-mart says, who cares?

Meh leave the poor kid alone he's just posting his 2 cents when he'll get some attention, not being accused of resurrecting a dead thread.
