Most common RWD car on the road

What is the most common RWD car on the road today in the US? Is it the Nissan 240SX? 300ZX? All BMWs maybe? Honda S2000 even though it's expensive?

If all the BMWs sold make up the most common RWD drive cars on the road what is the 2nd most common RWD car?

They just keep making more and more FWD cars. They need to make more RWD cars and make some cheaper ones.

Forgot about that one too. I guess it would be 3rd because it's a cop car.
Than there's the Camaro also and Corvette.

None of the models I like so far except a BMW but it's very expensive to buy and own.

I thought that the Corrolla used to be RWD in the 70s?

And into the 80s. The AE86 is RWD, thus popular with drifters. I think it was only produced until ~1986-88, then they started with FWD.

EDIT: As of July 2005 Mazda has produced 724,667 MX-5s. I don't think it's anywhere near the original Beetles' numbers, which are in the millions, but it is the most produced sportscar of all time.
