Lotus Exige or Elise, unlike the Atom, it is atleast semi drivable on the streets.

what makes the Exige more driveable on the streets than the Atom?
the doors?
I would take the Atom over the Exige as my ONLY car anyday...if youre gonna go hardcore, go way hardcore

but yeah, an Elise makes a bit more sense for everyday use

No(r)way.
Any Lotus Super Seven replika... Or original of course...
Caterham, Westfield, Luego, Striker, MK... etc. etc.
Can`t beat the value for your money in anything else..
And that it`s reachable for any body.. As in: YOU can actually buy or/and build one yourself, without the biggest bank account..
And you also get the driving adventures of your life!!

Ariel atom gets the second place

My personal favourite is the Radical SR8. A Caterham R600 would be nice though If I had to choose between a (relitively) practical one, it would be the Ultima GTR 640.

Best Lightweight Sportscar

SR8 would be my favourite as well (fastest around the ring 6.55) with that lovely V8. Only problem is that the engine supposedly needs a rebuild every 30 hours, making it a bad road car from that perspective
