Bugatti Veyron 16.4 vs SSC Ultimate Aero

Italian heat vs American muscle...who will whoop? Bugatti: 1001hp, 253mph (406km/h) top speed, way off the price charts, luxury+refinement=the Veyron. SSC: 1046hp, wind tunnel estimate 273mph (440km/h) top speed, amazingly low $654 000 price, carries a heavily modified Corvette engine, the car weighs only 2640lb (1199kg)! hello SSC!

That's the problem though.

The Veyron has actually done it.
For now, the SSC is like S7 TT. Just assumptions.

But I'd take the SSC.

Bugatti. Like you said, refinement. Plus, people will know what it is, you'll just be a rich git. With the SSC, you'll be a rich geek.

^^ My good god, something true and considered just came out of your keyboard. Are you feeling ok?

As for the question, I'd take the Veyron - it's so much more than its performance figures. The Bugatti is a true super car, the SSC is just headline chasing.

I'd do something similar, except I'd buy six houses.

But it didn't go as fast as the Bugatti.

The SSC Ultimate Aero was tested by R&T (or someone else).
However, neither S7 TT or SSC broke 250Mph so the top speed is STILL assumption.

Bugatti no doubt. An engineering masterpiece. Road thrasher and gentle cruiser.

I'd take the Bugatti because it will last for another 10yrs and knowing american cars the ssc will probably have its engine blown up or pistons will be fried after doing 440kmh and also u do know bugatti speed limited the veyron to 407kmh or a little bit over that. if the limiter is removed they said it would do close to 440kmh or over and besides there gonna bring out a light weight version of it a couple of yrs froms now along with a so called more luxugerious version which i think that more luxgurious probably may not happen since it would probably be a waste of time.
