The SRT4 is a bit, well Ricer.

Ford Focus is an awesome little Hot Hatch.

i have always hated the focus and always will. although we dont have any good ones here in the states and the rs does look a bit better and am sure it is a wonderful car and i cant be a fair judge.the neon, well i was never fond of them either, but i have seen them and i have driven them. so i am biased to say that i think the neon is better. and u have it way under rated.. where did you get your stat's. seen new ones, put down 220hp, no mods. just curious because i have seen them rated about 4 different hp( to the wheels)

This info is from www.cars.com

SRT-4

230hp 2.4L DOHC 16 valve intercooled turbo I-4 engine with SMPI

Engine displacement: 2.4L
Engine horsepower: 230hp @ 5,300RPM
Engine torque: 250 lb.-ft. @ 2,200RPM

Honestly I don't know which one I would choose. I have driven Focus and they're pretty good cars. Never driven a Neon tho.

The Dodge SRT-4 is the fastest, but that's not the only thing that matters.

I would have to test drive them both.

PS: I like the looks on both of them.

The Ford Focus is critically acclaimed as one of the best handling cars in it's class, and the RS was always a top contender for best 'hot hatch'.

The Neon, when it was sold over here, albeit not in SRT4 guise, was always bottom of the pile. Not neccesarily a bad car, just everything else was better.

I don't know what differences to the chassis Dodge have made, but I would prefer to trust the Ford Motorsport rally bred technology.

Recaro seats, Brembo brakes, OZ wheels, Garret turbocharger, X-trac 'box, a who's who of motorsport. And it looks much nicer.
