Hey Everyone,

Which do you prefer, the Maybach 62 S or the Rolls Royce Phantom?

I prefer the Maybach. That is possibly the most luxurious car of all time. And I think it looks great compared to the big and boxy RR. The interior of the RR isnt great either..

The Maybach is too much of a stretched rebadged and S-class. So I'll go for the Rolls.

Rolls Royce FTW. The 62 looks like a big Mercedes. The RR on the other hand is unique.

I'd rather the Maybach's interior though.

Being more expensive isn't a good attribute.

The Maybach is just a C-class on steriods.

Phantom. The Phantom LWB is about $50K less than the 62S and, from what I understand, a used Phantom holds its value pretty well, while a Maybach 62 drops by almost half its value the second you drive it off the lot.

However, if I was going to pick a car to be driven in, there's no comparison: Lexus LS600h.

I pick neither.

I go for the Toyota Century.

I don't have a picture of it, but it's a huge Japanese sedan with a V-12.

Toyota also had another land yacht that I don't quite remember. It looked very retro and had suicide doors.

Of these two, I pick the Phantom. Much better looking than the Maybach. Besides, the Maybach is on an aging platform.

The Phantom is my choice, the Maybach as others have said before is just an obese S-Class. Another thing, I saw a 2004 Maybach 57 for $189,000 at a dealership near me, I think it had 85,000 KMS on it though. That drop in value is still huge despite such high KMS.

The Phantom, but I too would take an Arnage T over both of them

Of those two, I would pick the Rolls.
But my favorite elite huge luxury car is still a '60s or '70s Cadillac limo...

Both are ugly, IMHO, but the Maybach isn't hideous like the blocky front fascia of the Rolls, and the TT V12's gotta have more balls then the BMW V12 - those guys shoulda kept the 6.75l TT V8. So, vote goes to the Maybach.

Now, overall, I think Ingolstadt's got it right - Bentley's got it all over those other two.
