Ford RS 200 1986 vs Noble M400 2004

A tough question for "educated" car enthusiasts. Please justify your choice.

I'd rather own a genuine classic.

Same reason as W. It's history make's me desire it, though it can be a pig to drive. And it's beautiful in a porpuseful way.

WHech engine will you select int he RS ?

Even with the lower powered road-version you got to select the RS200 for the reasons above PLUS it's handling is sublime

Well that I don't know and I guess you're the only one amongst us who can have an opinion about it.
I've read that is strange to drive unless you're going 10 tenths.

Good point worht clarifying ...

The "handling" is horrendous with so much power in a short wheelbase the slightest variation in tyre grip causing the car to yaw instantly. However, that's what a driver is there for and then the level of grip in all other considerations is awesome It instantly goes to where you point it
Brothers RS200 was course opening on Manx International and posted FASTER times than the competitors on some of the stages

"Grip" on rally terms is, most of the times, measured sideways. The grip that counts is the one you have once you get the car slidding, I guess.
Is your brother's an EVO? Who was at the wheel? Although we know the car is a beast, it must take one very commited driver to beat the "clever" WRC's and S2000's.

I don't want to die thank you.

The Noble then. And I've only read good things about it, so another reason to choose it over the Ford.

I do like the comparison but I'm going w/ the RS because I just can't pass up the history either. It just makes it that much more special.

The RS may be a classic, but the M400 for me.

The M400 will never have the race heritage, but is just a brilliant example of what Lee Noble can do, and keep it at a reasonable price for a Ferrari beater
