Don't F1 cars achieve that sort of speeds at Monza too?

Last year at Monza, using the V8 engines, the better F1 cars were being timed in the region of 349 km/h.

As a comparison, the diesel LMP cars at Monza in April were making about 322 km/h top speed on the straights.

At the end of the V10 era F1 cars were making >360km/h at Monza.

Whereabouts does the ACO locate their speed trap? At the very bottom before braking for Mulsanne corner? Before the first chicane?

before the first chicane I think.....the leadup is the longest and Tetre Rouge is not that slow of a corner....

in this link you find all the speed records since 1961 in La Sarthe

in 1988 the WM P88 recorded 405 km/h and 400 km/h in 1989 was achiveved by Sauber Mercedes in tests

in 1985 Nelson Piquet said that was fun to drive the Brabham in Monza at 350 km/h and the Porsche 956 achieved 372 km/h in the same year

today even the average and top speeds are better in F1

LeMans Prototype cars may be faster on a straight line but F1 cars corner and turn like demons...

Potentially, LMP1 faster than F1, at the prototype motor greater volume, and better aerodynamics.
But all impinges on the rules and conditions of the race (marathon)
