Supercars tested on European highspeed track-Nardo

Hi Guys!
Just received my new copy of the german car magazine "Auto, Motor und Sport".
This issue contains a test of some supercars at the italian highspeed track at Nardo.
I found the article very interesting, so I would like to share the data with you. If someone is interested, I also can post the whole article with photos (of course in german, but I can translate it). First of all, I attached the technical data sheet, with acceleration and top speed data.

Tested were:

1) Aston Martin DB 9
2) Bentley Continental GT
3) Ferrari Enzo Ferrari
4) Lamborghini Murcielago
5) Mercedes SLR McLaren
6) Porsche Carrera GT

As you can see in the attachment, the Enzo is by far the fastest overall, i.e. acceleration and top speed. But what's astonishing is that the SLR is faster to 300 km/h (appr. 186 mph) then the Carrera GT, even though it weighs a lot more. (but the Carrera has the best brakes!)
And what's surprises me as well is the topspeed of the Bentley - 200 mph, and that's with such a luxury sedan.
Just imagine, a few years ago only cars like the F40 or the 959 were going so fast...

In addition to this, I included a poll to find out, which car you prefer after having read the data sheet.
My vote goes to the Enzo (for sure), but the Continental GT is not far behind - it looks very well, is sooooo luxurious, and soooo fast - the Bentley just has it all.

Yeah, but the Carrera GT is on the show this coming Sunday. I guarantee you it will go faster with so much less weight. Sadly though it doesn't look as though they are gonna get an Enzo on the track any time soon so maybe we'll never be able to find out which of the current hypercars is the fastest on a track.

BTW Red Wings Fan, what does 'handlingkurs 1600m' mean exactly? I'm assuming it's some sort of handling test, and it looks as though my personal favourite the Carerra GT came up trumps in that one.

They tested all cars on the Track "Autodromo del Levante", which is also in Italy, in Bari. It's 1.6km long and has some sharp corners, so the streets are crooked (I hope it's the right word ).
There the Carrera GT was the fastest, even though the drivers noticed that on such a short and crooked ( ) track the aerodynamics of the Enzo can't really help.
To sum it up, the Enzo is the car closest to a race car (next to the Carrera GT, but it has radio, electronic windows etc.), the Murcielago the most aggressive car, the british cars have a lot understatement and the SLR is a very good mixture of all attributes.

I'll have a DB9 as my every day runabout, the SLR as a second car, and the Porsche Carrera GT as the weekend plaything.

Re Top Gear/ Enzo:

JayKay: Hello?
TG: Hello! Top Gear here. can we borrow your Enzo for a couple of laps with the Stig?
Jaykay: F**k off!

For all-around super-car goodness, you have to go with the Enzo.

That SLR pulls like a demon! All the while doing so with only 5 gears and giving up nothing to the CGT at the very top end. Surprised to see the Enzo only marginally ahead of the Murcielago in braking. Still would take it over those other cars, though.

The fastest was actually the Radical SR-3, but for some reason they chose not to include it this season... I guess it wasn't close enough to street legal
