Golf V vs. BMW 1-Series EDIT: +1 for specs and price

Which one do you think would be better as a second car for a family?

Also could someone please post the price and specifications of these two cars. Don't worry about pics.

Man you guys have no patience.

Less than a day after you posted it you expected a UCP member to have given a response ??
Some folks DO have a life
Also, I find it insulting to your fellow UCPers that you think they should jump to get you an answer in a few hours !!!

Glad you got your answer and I expect you'll ahve given a +1 rep as offered by now.
So think this one through, when you see someone with a high rep make a statement about a car problem you bring to UCP. How will you know to trust it ?

It may only have been earned by pimping for threads like this

And you keep telling us not to take rep seriously...

I just did it because I was bored, and I wanted to find the specs on the 1 series anyway.

Its nice to be nice etc.

no probs Coventry, it's those 'pimping' rep that I'm pointing out devaluse the system.

It DOES have value, but some folks DO take it WAY too seriously and analytically demand reasons and explanation for every pos rep give to others and neg rep taken from them. My PMs are mainly on those issues. We'll be putting out some 'guidelines' to get a bit of (e)quality back into the system
