which car compares well with the 575 maranello

The Aston Martin Vanquish compares with performance and price. Both are front mount engine rear wheel drive nearly two-ton beasts. That is about all I can think of at the moment.

There only direct competitor to the 575 is the Aston Martin Vanquish, because anything with similar power, speed and handling is probably much cheaper. The Dodge Viper, for instance, has nearly the horsepower, a faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile and damn near the top speed but can be had for about $85,000, opposed to the near $250,000 mark for the 575. You could also say the same for the Mercedes SL600, and Bentley Continental GT. On the other end of the spectrum there is the Lamborghini Murcielago, which is priced similarly but has an extra 60 hp, little higher top end and destroys the Ferrari in acceleration. So it's a tough call.

All perfomance except handling, definetly the Z06, it even has better handling....

Look at the laptimes and keep in mind this is the 2001 Z06 that has 20 less hp and 20 less ft-lbs of torque, and doesnt handle as well as a 2003 or 2004 Z06 does.
