I'm with Niko Fx, my vote goes to the Honda/Acura team. I love the TSX.

toyota and Lexus win because
Toyota has the Prius Lexus has the rotateing headlights and no key needed system and bluetooth phone system (also in the Prius) and because I simply like them better. |

I'd go with Honda/Acura, reliable and a hint of luxury. Toyota's build quality is questionable and I've never liked nissans.

Japanese Auto Wars
Like all arguments out there...the answer to this one would have to depend on what the consumer chooses to consume. If you like longlife cliches...Honda/Acura. Neither Honda or Acura have come out with anything lately that blows my mind. The new TL is a great looking car but it isn't the beginning of a revolution. And Honda looks to me to be the same thing with a new Hybrid engine. With Toyota/Lexus, you have possibly the most reliability out of the bunch and Lexus has also become the benchmark in Luxury cars with their full size sedan beating out Mercedes, BMW, VW, and Audi which is no surprise to me...I think the best out of the bunch though as far as new innovation and an all around turn around in most automotive categories is Nissan/Infiniti. Infiniti especially. But also like all things...the consumer is going to buy whatever they want anyway so why argue it. Hence the reason why Ford still sells automobiles at all...Figure that shit out.

Anywho, I chose Toyota/Lexus because they make the most reliable, solid, etc. cars out there. They also make my current fave (that I could hope to afford): the Scion xB. They also make the only luxury sedan that beat out my favorite luxury sedan (Jaguar) in a big comparo done by C/D. A great all-around company, and I wouldn't be too freaked out if they were suddenly, magically the only car company in existence .

I don't need anything too fancy, just something that can get me to the sun and back in 5 seconds flat. I wanna see a comparison test between the Saleen SR, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ford GT, and Ferrari Challange Stradale. Anyone wanna help me with that? I already know who'd win, though ;). |
