Photoshop Tutorial - LOWERING - Whiteballz

Hello and welcome to the Whiteballz school of tutorials.

This tutorial will show beginners how to successfuly lower a car in photoshop.

#1: Open image of the car
#2: Select polygonal lasso tool (image one)
#3: Select around the bottom of the car, excluding the wheels. Go as close as you can as carefully as you can to the edge of the bodywork. (image 2)
#4: Hit Control + C to copy the selected area.
#5: Hit Control + V to paste onto a new layer.
#6: Select the move tool, procede to drag the new layer down as far as you wish. Careful; IF you move the new layer down too far, you run the risk of making the car unrealistic because of the ride height.
#7: It is possible to create a better fit by hitting Control + T and draging the image on a rotational basis by clicking and holding OUTSIDE the box on an edge. (image 3)
#8: Once the image has been rotated and fitted, all that is left is to carefully go around the edge of the lowering with a small brush, and find all the small impurities, like gaps left where fenders were.
#9: There is a section of image at the top of the picture that will show how car you have lowered the car. it is wise to remove this, however for demonstrational purposes i have left it in to show you.
