If you are not sure you want to download it and install it on you pc. I have a full version in my download file that I have never installed! It is supose to be the latest 3D Max 8 I will install it to see if it works and if it does I will upload it to rapidshare. That is if you want it! I have been using Houdini and lightwave so far.

thats really not that good go too any 3d art forum and ur will see tons of more skilled modelers, and if u go to some mod sits for games like racer,GTR and R factor u will see some really skilled modeler cus not only do they look good bu they have to be lower polly to run in a game. by lower i mean in the 12K range and that cars waaay above that

ok for the 1st thing so far its only 10k polyes, it only looks like more cuz i used turbo smooth to make it look nicer. Also i dont plan on puting it into a game. and lastly im not a freaking pro, so why dont you take your head out of your A$$ and try modeling a 3d car your self.
And take a look at a freaking picture cuz my model is pretty damn accurate, and im not even 1/2 way done.

You are sooo right i should try 3d modeling cus i cleary have no idea what i am talking about.....
this is just a little some thing that i have been working on for a little while...and just keep in mind this car will run in most games made with in the last 2 years or so(made for racer thoe), so it pretty low polly and it was all so made with zmod and thats free program

and as for the polly thing no shit u used a mesh smoother i but u even like u said it 10k now and it i was saying 12K for a WHOLE car

Pryro great to have you visit us here on Ultimatecarpage!! Dont worry about the other guy we get them every now and then but over all everyone here is really great to work with and have a good learning spirit about them and are motre then willing to help others!! And are quite good at chopping cars in photoshop!! If you could give some of us an idea where we can get more tutorals it would be a great help! I have been using lightwave and hodini some! but since I seen you have a tut on building a car I installed max3D to give it a try!!

the thing your not geting is i dont care if it doesnt work in games im just trying to make it look good and realistic as I can as a hoby.

wtf is that peice of garbage of yours supose to be, and does it have to intercoolers lol. wtf is up with those shocks do you plan on jumping it off a cliff or something. and those dinky little mirorrs that are way off, it looks like a could blow on them and they would fall off same thing with the crapy wing. I could easily model low poly but i dont what my work looking like that pice of crap of yours. So why dont you stop critasizing peoples work, and calling it crap so much once you cant even do 1/2 as good.
