chopping question

i have photoshop cs 8.0 and i dont know how to chop cars.... can someone give me a couple pointers?

i cant quite lasso the wheels because the magnetic lasso goes on the rim instead of tire

I wouldn't reccommend using the magnetic lasso. Just use the normal lasso and if there are areas that you want selected after you are done you can hold shift and select another area and it will add to the already selected area.

You hold the mouse over the icon for the magnetic lasso and a menu will come up with other options.
