Can someone tell me what is the best size for an image and how to edit an image size?

Best size for what? The bigger the better i would say when it comes to most pictures. You can reformat the size of pictures easily in lots of different image manipulating programs.

i agree ^
for cars, wallpaper size r the best. usually 1024 x 768
heres how i edit the size, (in photoshop) ctrl+a to select all then ctrl +t to play around with it.

However, if your picture can't conform to those dimensions without construing it, this won't work. Also, if your picture conforms to these dimensions, but it's a very small picture, the quality will be greatly reduced when you scale it up.

in photoshop, you can also go to the 'Image' menu, and go to 'image size' and change it that way.
