A hunch...

It would be great if someone would be willing to try this for me...

Move the F430 taillights down to where they are on the 360, and have them not be exposed. I did a really rought sketch to show you what I mean.

I have a hunch that the rear end will look a LOT better after this...

Thanks

No offense dude but I think that it will look better as is. Ferrari designers know what their doing, and besides its a cue from the Enzo, who doesn't like that?

Yeah, but he just wants to see how it would look if they were placed similarly to tehe 360.

Since when are asthetics a matter of professional opinion? If a guy who's paid to design cars makes a hideous car, it's still hideous.

Chris Bangle is paid loads of money to make BMWs look like something a dog would leave in my front yard. Does this give him creditability? Hell no, so why would it make any difference at Pininfarina?

EDIT: You drive a Scion and you're trying to lecture me on automotive asthetics?!

Here ya go EggNog, im not too great with photoshop so of course its not gonna be perfect. I didn't try it on the left lights but i think you can get the idea with the right side only. If i have some more time i'll try the left too, but i'm sure someone good at photoshop will do both better than mine. I'm not sure when or why i made the whole car desaturated but i did and i never noticed it so i couldn't go back silly me. also im not sure if i got the lights tilted right, everyway i put them it looked wrong to me haha oh well...

Looks good so far! Can anyone come up with another one?

It does look better, if you ask me. Much better.

Someone call PininFarina, tell them they need to change the designs.

Interesting idea, the traditional lights makes it too much like 550 Maranello. I like the F430 as is

I like this comment. However, IMO the Enzo taillights give the Monza a fast and spry edginess

the near side is perfect, but the far side's lights are angled inwards too much. I don't know enough about photoshop (In fact I know nothing), but is it possible to angle them further out?

I definitely like this idea more than the actual design.

here is my try using the original lights, not a donor car. I added a few more mods...I couldn't help myself.
