GIF animator?

I could have sworn i saw a plug-in on ucp for photoshop for making gif animations but i can't seem to find it, if there was never a plug in like that then i was wondering how do you guys make those gif avatars? any help would be greatly appreciated?

i played around in imageready for an hour or so and i think i got it all figured out except i dont understand how to save it as a .gif, can someone help me?

I posted a while back a plugin that was a GIF animator for photoshop. Check out all my posts and you will find it but I dont know if the links are still good!!

On a related tangent, why does my compy only download pics as .bmp? I'd like GIF's to save as GIF's and JPG's to save as JPG's... Any idea how to fix that? It's annoying the crap outa me

that happend to 3 of my computers LOL
ok, simple, i have no idea why, but download mozilla firefox cus i be ur using internet explorer, either use mozilla firefox or netscape.
with firefox u can save images the way they are on the net.

All you have to do is right click on the pic and click on "save as" when the window opens to save go to the bottom and click on the bottom little window and change it to jpg.

i've done that! and it doesnt give me jpg as an option, only bmp.

I really miss Windows 3.1. It was the only Windows I ever got to understand.

I just looke at your screen save and you are saving "saving" not "save as"
