2005 Australia Day Motorfest in Sydney

Every Australia Day, the NRMA (one of the biggest insurance companies in Australia) puts on a massive classic car display in the centre of Sydney which is open free to the public.
No prizes for guessing where I spent my holiday afternoon then.

I took along a camera this time, and managed to take plenty of photos.
There were big crowds which made it a little difficult, plus the sun. However, there are plenty of good shots, and I thought I'd share some of them with the UCP community. Enjoy.

To start with, two shots of a Ferrari 365GT 2+2.

WARNING TO DIAL UP USERS: the shots of the Ferrari, Lamborghini and Citroen SM are in a higer resolution. I have lowered the resolution on the rest.

I'll be lowering the resolution for the remaining photos. Otherwise they will take too long to upload.

Next up: an unusual 1957 Buckle Coupe - unique to Australia (the yellow car on the left) and a 1963 Ford Consul Capri (the red car on the right).

Next up a Lancia Fulvia Fanalone 1600HF(on the left) and a 1948 Lancia Convertable (on the right). Unfortunately I didn't get the model name of the 1948 Lancia. I can tell you that apparantly there are only two left in the world. Anyone know for sure what it is?

Henk is out for one week more or so, but I think he'll love the whole thread.
You can ad two things to your posts to make them more accurate:
The red Ford is in fact a Consul Capri. Previous than the Capri. The Fulvia is a Fulvia Fanalone 1600HF. The Fanalone version is distinguished by the bigger inside headlights, wich make that car a lot more rare than you could think at first. Keep those ppics comming if you have more.

Two photos of the Austin 1800. This car is known in Australia as the "Landcrab". This particular car is apparantly the only car to finish both the 1968 and 1970 Round the World Rally Marathons.
