Glas 1304 TS

Info about all **04 models:
This inconspicuous looking car has a very short wheelbase in relation to its overall length. Back then it was called “hot rod” for it above average road performance. The rather delicate, but technically interesting engine uses an overhead camshaft driven by a timing belt. There are four body styles: 2 plus 2 coupe (May 1962 until 1965), two door Limousine (January 1963 until the end of 1967), two seat convertible (spring of 1963 until 1967), hatch back (September 1966 until the end of 1967).
Motors: 1004 (1000 cc) from May 1962, 1204 (1200 cc) from January 1963, 1004 TS und 1204 TS from November 1963, 1304 TS (1300 cc) from March 1963, 1304 from September 1965.
A total of 40,703 cars were built of this type. The cars were priced between US$1,210 and US$1,980.

GLAS 1304 TS :
Limousine, 2 doors, 4 cylinder, 4 cycle inline water-cooled motor, 1299 cc, 85 DIN Hp, two 35 RH sidedraft carburetor by Solex, 4-speed manual transmission, single disk dry clutch, rear wheel drive with split drive shaft, all steel unibody construction, independent front wheel suspension and fixed rear axle with leaf springs and Panhard stabilizer link, hydraulic disk brakes up front and drum brakes in the rear, 6 volt electrical system, length: 3835mm, width: 1500mm, height: 1370mm, wheelbase: 2100mm, track: 1230 front + 1200mm rear, tires 155 SR 13, curb weight: 790kg, GVWR: 1130kg, top speed: 168km/h, fuel consumption: 11 Liter/100km, tank capacity: 40 liter or 60 liter
