Any Help with info on Beemer?

Found this recent photo of what looks like a late 60's early 70's BMW prototype called the Hurrican. I cannot seem to find any detailed info on this neat looking car. Any help is much appreciated.

this is a one-off designed by a Swiss student in 1971, mainly on BMW underpinnings. The car was completed in 1975. The engine is a 2000TI. Parts from many other cars were also used. It is NOT a BMW prototype.

yes, he designed the car. Actually the process started in 1965 and completion took ages.

It raised my interest as well looking through the slide-show, thanks for clearing that up.

What's the car in the back?

The one off BMW looks cool. There seems to be a bit of Z8 in it too.

For a second there I was thinking of Mercedes Benz. I then realized Jaguar.

the Toyota 2000GT shown is owned by the Dutch Toyota importer and owner of the vast Louwman Collection, which a.o. now incorporates a large part the former Rosso Bianco as well. He is a regular participant in Concourses like this and brought two cars to Pebble Beach last year.
