Attila ... the Hun?
Hi,
I came across a car which I don't know very well, but which rang a bell to me, being a mid-sixties sports racer named Attila. I only know the car has a big fat V-8 engine and it was most probably faced up with similar Lolas and Brabhams. I don't know who designed it, what the most striking design features were (I reckon to have spotted inboard dampers) and I have no idea who raced it, and I am even less informed about any possible victories. Could anyone therefore shed more light on this seemingly interesing yet mysterious car? |

Seven were built by designer Val Dare-Bryan in the 1960s. He previously worked for Lotus. It was a pretty advanced design and one of the first racing cars to be wind tunnel tested. The engine is an American V8. The front suspension was certainly in-board.
