This car is good looking in a very strange way. It's probably because it's a vintage car.

Does it still exist by the way?

Also, is the engine still in the back?

This car is distinctly awesome.

I love how they just used the regular passenger-side door for the driver's-side rear door, and vice versa.

Edit: It kinda looks oldschool Citroen-esque.

Can anyone tell me whatever happened to a Proto-Porsche done a number of years back,I want to say it had the first Targa type/slide back-overlaps the rear window top,in a blue-green color and with the way the body lines cut across and bulged over the fender wells it looked like a Gdamn frog! It seems the name Panamera was used, but this was a looong time back. I liked the car, they cut the tires(tyres for you EU guys) in Porsche shields. Oh! I think it was a tribute car `cause some Porsche had just died.

And if all that wasn't vague enough for you, stick around for my second act....it's a ''crossing over'' with john edwards type thing(i'm kidding....thats in the third act).

It was called Porsche Panamericana. Built as a concept in 1989 to celebrate Ferry Porsche's 80th birthday. There were rumours about a small production run in 1992, but finally the idea was scrapped because of financial difficulties Porsche had at that time. It was built on the basis of the 911 Carrera 4, its bodywork was built with fibreglass and carbon fibre. I have no idea where the car is right now.
The wheel arches were so wide, because the designer wanted the car to be able to be fitted with all-terrain wheels, replacing 959 as an off-road rallye car for Porsche. There wasn't any roof, only a canvas top (with pink zipper ).
