bizzarinis
I hung out with the Bizzarini boys quite a bit. There was one car that a friend of mine spent 7-8 years restoring. It was so cool to see that car put back together after seeing it in bits.
Here are a couple of the Bizzarini shots. cheers ken |

Do you have more shots of that Varedo? That's a rare sight.

I was in the tractor trailor unloading zone when that car made an appearance. Very cool to see it in person.

Varedo
Here is what I found on the web: Power came from Ford, the 5.7 ltr. Ford 351 Cleveland engine with 325 hp combined with a 5-speed from ZF. With a weight of around 1000kg it is a spectacular car to drive let down only by the heavy clutch and impossible gearchange:
First: up-left, Second: right-down and 3/4/5 are also where they should not be and where you don't expect them to be. Iso only completed one Varedo and that is a real shame. In 1973 Piero Rivolta sold the company to Dr. Ivo Pera and that was the end for the Varedo. He didn't want a new model and left the car in a corner of the factory were Piero Rivolta found it later, damaged and in pieces, after Iso had to close it's doors in December 1974 due to the oil-crisis. He bought the car and had it restored to it's present perfect condition. It can be seen at the Iso Museum in Sarasota USA. |

2 fiddy pictures
Here are a couple of the 250 Sperimental photos. I talked to the caretaker of this car. He had some nice documentation. Interestingly enough, I work with a gentleman whose dad owned and raced this car back in 61 prior to his purchase of 3223. Back then it was painted white with blue stripes.
