Boston Auto Show / Abarth

Does anyone no were photos of the 1968 Boston auto show might be found.

Specificly the Abarth stand. I have located a car that may have been in it. Does anyone have any experiance varifying such a thing?

Welcome to UCP. That really sounds like a long shot, what model Abarth are you talking about? A 1000 SP or a 850 Coupe based derivative?

Oh, now I see the 124 Coupe, I was not aware that they made them in 1300, I thought the standard engine was a 1440 TC, and later a 1600. The Coupes suffered very much from rust and very few are left, unfortunately, and they rarely show up anywhere, even for sale.

They didn't. The car I am talking about is a Fiat Abarth 1300/124. It is a Fiat 850 Coupe with a push rod 124 1290cc engine in the back.

I belive that about 90 were made, mostly for export to the U.S.
