Welcome to UCP please use the attachment system in the future for adding photos, that way users don't have to go to some file-sharing website that has who-knows-what on it. Thanks.

POST the high resolution link, per favore!
I thought the museum was closed until the end of the year for restoration, that's a nice news. Info and costs for the visit?

Just click on the "post reply" button so to use the advance mode. Then there is the "attachments" button on the right of the "smilies" button. Click, browse the files, and then upload.

Dismantling it?!
Madness!

I may be interested in that visit, I was planning to visit it once it would have been open again.
What's this story of closing it? It doesn't make sense at all. Perhaps they are just considering moving it, possibly merging it with the Fiat's museum or the "Museo Nazionale Biscaretti di Ruffia", both in Turin.
The collection is too large and awesome to not be showed.

Thanks for the links btw.

The museum is not closed (as in the process of being dismantled), but it is only open by appointment. We went their in 2007, and were allowed to shoot the whole collection. (at least the part that was exhibited). When we asked for the same arrangement in 2008, they refused.

Why that?
I don't think I've seen a report on that visit on UCP though, right?

you will see the result reflected in some of the specific Alfa models covered. We do not make special reports on each event/thingy we visit, but use the shots to illustrate specific models.

Yeah I thought about it once I posted.
Again, why they refused to allow you to visit it in 2008?
As Tano V12 said, perhaps it has to do with the fact they only allow groups of at least 20 persons.
