is ther a?

i love the film mad max and like most ppl want the car but i dont want to import it from oz
so is ther an english car like it
like ford capri but with a shorter frunt i like the gt 350 but need an english one thats not to expenceive
im heading for a mix of modern and old and make it a bit rally like

oooh hard one.
Vauxhall Firenza is prolly the closest to the MFP Pursuit. The other alternative is the Ford Conrtina MkIII (coke bottle shape ) but the boot line isn't as high.
Either way you're going to have to add lots of panels to get the black one the Ford GT
I still think Firenza is the closest off the shelf.
These are like hens teeth and it woudl liekly be easier/cheaper to import

Nice challenging questino tho' , I'll see if I can think of any others.

you could get a hardtop cheap over here and then once you get it to england do it up (351, blower etc.)

The XA is a big car. Bigger than a Cortina. Think current GTO but bigger and heavier.
Only one in Australia on Carsales for sale at the moment. Not a bad one either! Aus $20,000

as a fan of the film that was understood,

BUT we didnt' have an equivalent 'big' car. Maybe the Vauxhall Cresta but you just wont find one of those as Vauxhall innovated with unique guaranteed-to-rust-away steel on theat model

An old aquaintance of mine had one a long time ago. He is now in England and I think he left it with his Grandpa.
