The highest peak speed in a car ever recorded was 1240.77 km/h (771 mph), which was done by "Thrust SSC".

this kind of thread has been done soooooo many times that it gets slightly boring but eventually it will come down to the fact that its the 9FF CAR.
but production wise its the veyron when it eventually apears
