Gumpert apollo
Hi there,
saw the Apollo recently at an exhibition in Munich. No - no car exhibition: Drinktec Interbrau... IAA was at the same time... See attached pics. Well - I don't like the color, but the car is one hell of a supercar... Also got a new website: www.gumpert.de Cheers |

The websize says its under 1100kg (dry). So with driver and all liquids I guess somewhere between 1100 and 1200kg. I know somebody who works for them as a mechanic - he said they will also offer a 700hp and 800hp version of the engine... Well - you can never ahve enough power, but 1100kg, 800hp & rear wheel drive!?! That's a weapon... Somewhere the boss of the Company was quoted that he wanted to build a car that is actually capable of driving at the ceiling at high speeds. Wonder if They'll proof it someday... ![]() |

I think Sport Auto recently dealt with it. I have to look it up though

I knew about this car in my brother's Malaysian Evo months ago. Or was it Autocar? Hmmm... I'm not too sure.

I think that the Apollo is exactly what a supercar should be:
- lightweight - extremely powerful - difficult to drive - downforce downforce downforce - impractical - raw |
