M5 E60 Problems ???

Is it true the I-Drive is terible, and you cant shut up the navi sound....??
if y'all know about any other "problems" with it would like 2 know...ThanX

The i-Drive has been criticised far and wide for being overly complicated since its inception, but i havent heard about the navigation issue

My mom find the navigation sound annoying as hell too, so I turned it off for her, since it isn't branded BMW who can't manage to shut up.
