It’s got a 388bhp V8, but you’d never know to look at it

The CLK 500 is a strange fish. There were no gasps of joy as it crunched into the Euro car park but a glance at the spec suggests there should be a little more enthusiasm for a car like this. Of course, its kerb appeal isn’t helped when it’s painted silver-grey with a matching grey interior, but give the accelerator a generous prod and, boy, does this new version pack a punch.

What do you guy's think ?

Engine: V8, 5461cc, 32v

Max power: 388bhp @ 6000rpm

Max torque: 391 Ib ft @ 2800-4800rpm

0 - 60mph: 5.2sec (claimed)

Top Speed: 155mph (limited)

Price: £47,490 ( resonable )

I'd called it merely average to be honest.

Even that picture is the one used in Evo, how is copying their review and passing it off as your own not stealing?

Top Gear did a similar test, however, they thought it was super expensive!

(It is.)

The CLK is a good car in its own right. Its a very classy car. Something i would use if i were to drive from continent to continent. But to me, an SL would be better.

mmm SL Good Choice but as you said I'd Prefer The CLK for Endurance Driving.
