During the next Historic GP Monaco on the 10/11.05.2008, Monte Carlo Automobile will present on the 10.05.2008 in the Yacht Club the dummy of the new project. The carbon fibre works will by produced from Guglielmo Bellasi.
So I was asked to bring for this event our Bellasi F1 to Monaco.

Arkansas, Conway, not so bad, really.
this thing's showed up a the 21st Century Supercar Party wearing acid-washed jeans and insisting to put Metallica's Black Album on the hi-fi.

When you get on the website and click the 'style' link, you get a picture that's not unlike my 11th-grade Prom photo, and just as uncomfortable to look at. That the cutline mentions that the snapper posed the happy couple in front of a casino in Monaco speaks profoundly of thundering lameness.

If I invited the unhappy love-child of a Jaguar XJ220 and a Ferrari F40 to the prom, though I'd likely be assured some 'action,' I'd do it to get a chance at boning one or both of her folks.

The styling is an Epic Fail, to this 'Quail's eyes. The Noble M12 just shows how right you can go with the clever use of exhausted styling cues. The Monegasa shows how wrong you can be.

That said, it could be the best driver's car ever. Shame it looks like the bonus car on a Super Nintendo game.

In fact early Monte Carlo car (called Centenaire) was a predecessor of a beautiful Mega Monte Carlo. Centenaire, presented in 1991, was bought in 1993 by Georgian businessman, modified and called Mig (it even entered Le Mans in 1993 as MIG Tako M100, but didn't pass the qualification - PHOTO PHOTO2). This Mig is in no way associated with Russian planes - it meant 'Mingrelia and Georgia'. His idea failed and he sold the project to France, where Mega with the help of SERA company redesigned the car and presented it in 1996 as Mega Monte Carlo.
UCP has Mega Monte Carlo somewhere among classic events reports (classic racing maybe), I just don't remember where exactly.
BTW, at the same time with a general car development Mega was remade to a GT1 racecar, but Mercedes-Benz was afraid that it would beat their CLK GTR on track and didn't permit them to use their engines (Monte Carlo used MB's V12 7-liter engine, in GT1 spec providing 550hp). The decision was found and another car was built for 1997 - according to GT2 specs (using PSA's V6 with two turbines). But this time Porsche saw a strong competitor to his 911's, as Mega also planned to produce tons of cars for customers (and actually have already received 20 orders), and made FIA to impose a new regulations, according to which every entrant should have made 25 homologation cars during 12 months. But since Mega planned to make only 10 road legal Monte Carlo's in 5 years, they couldn't meet the new regulations and were off the GT2, as well as GT1.

MCA Centenaire

The attached pics show the Mega Monte Carlo - truly one of the best French cars ever.

I have a picture of a race-prepped Mega in one of my magazines, but I gave it to my friend. So, when I get it back I'll scan the racer for you if no one else has it on a PC.

What was Mercedes worried about? It's not as though the CLK-GTR had any huge flaws. It tended to develop a bit of front-end lift at speed, but why sweat the small stuff? Anyway, I think that CLK-GTR engine has found a new home in a FXX-ish Zonda, and the way Mercedes is going with their Black Series cars, I'm sure they'll stuff one into the back of an A-class sooner or later.

I have some problems to understand something’s about this story!

The MCA Ala 50 its was presented with the same Logo as allocated on the MCA Centenaire, also presented from the same peoples. In the story about her car history is noting about a Russian or Aixam connection.
I think there was sold only projects and not the “Monte Carlo Automobile”
.

The was no Russian connection. Was some Georgian, but no Russian - a guy have bought a project and developed it. The same is with Aixam/Mega.
Monte Carlo Automobile was remained separately, IIRC.
