You know, with all that open body work, you'd expect that they wouldn't need extra ductwork for cooling.

Either way, that's insane.

I'd love a Euro-spec Ariel Atom. The one with the Civic Type R engine specifically.

I know the Europeans are ready to scream bloody murder but what the heck, this thing would probably be a blast to take to the limit and spin 15 times once traction breaks on the track.

"But the balance is ruined!!"

Shut up. Don't buy it.

i agree. the 300 hp version is as fast as an enzo around a track, and with 500 hp at low speed with zero weight and no downforce you are going to have some deal of understeering. i guess the NA engine with just 220 hp is well enough.

Radiators in freesteam without duct actually works quite poorly.....

Amazing, i bet it cant be to far behind the caparo t1 but will be significantly cheaper i bet, probably less than half the price.
Love how they have fitted front and rear wings, im suprised the new Caterham Seven RS 'Levante' hasnt gone with them like the Donkervoort D8 RS did, didnt that hold the nurburg record at one point?

But the "balance" will be fine
The V8 engines that are now being built by a few specialist motor manufacturers in the UK are very, VERY light. THis'll be lower than the Civic lump I'm pretty certain
Fairly substantial aero additions there too.
It's the dropping of a big power plant into a chassis and body shape that is often inappropriate beyond penis-comparisons

I like the Ariel, but in that league I'd rather have a Caterham or a Brook.

We don't have such things called "trackdays".

Therefore this is pointless for us.

Anyway it's not really my type of car.
