Ferrari Enzo and 599...twin Supercharged! drooollllll

I'm watching Supercars Exposed right now on SPEED TV...awesome show

anyways they were talking about a company in Florida called CEC that customizes exotics.

They said a twin supercharger...not twin turbo...was in development for the enzo they had in their showroom. They didnt give any specs but said there similar kit on a 599 was close to 1000hp

discuss

How many feet can it go before the tires are reduced to molten slag?

No pictures? No videos? This thread is useless unless the aforementioned are posted.

Not necessarily, high compression, high revving, high tune engines seem to generate huge amounts of power from relatively small boost pressures.
The boost required to get a 6.0L LS2 to develop 1000bhp might be huge compared to getting the same power from a 6.0L Enzo V12, although the V8 will necessarily have more torque because it makes the power at a lower peak RPM.
Honda V-TEC and BMW E46 M3 motors both produce masses of power from modest boost.

Are these the same guys that merged with Brabus to form Brabus USA awhile back?

BRABUS AND CEC UNITE TO FORM BRABUS USA, LP - CEC - Claus Ettensberger

They have a lame looking website by the way. I'm sure for how much money they're making they could at least afford a decent looking site...

I saw this last night too, and think that it is really a useless idea, but pretty cool

I never thought the Bugatti Veyron or the McLaren F1 were useless . But I do agree that it is kind of pointless to tune a car like the 599 that is so close to perfection as it is.
