again... it didn't need 16 cylinders.. they wanted it to have 16 cylinders... in fact they wanted it to have 18. but 16 turned out to be easier as all they had to do was bolt together 2 4L w8 blocks.... i think the whole exercise was for bragging rights... "we have the fastest, biggest engined, badass car available".... sure they could have shaved weight off everywhere, used a smaller, lighter, less powerful engine. but they didnt want to.....
well thats my thoughts anyways

thats why i dislike it... it could have been a much better/more eficient design.

sure... they could have shaped it like a bullet, made it weigh 600 kgs, put a highly strung, high revving engine in it, made it run on nitro and corner like its on rails etc etc etc etc.....
the point is, they were given a shape. then a performance figure... 400+ km/h with 1000+ bhp...... then they had to make the two work in a package that was marketable... something which, imho, i think they have done damn well.

but again.... everyone is entitled to their own opinion.....
